How many guests will a hog feed? Well, depending upon size, one of our hogs will feed from about 60 up to 285 hungry diners. As we can roast 3 hogs at the same time, we can feed up to around 850 in one sitting! A smaller piglet will feed from 20 to 70 – ideal for smaller gatherings.

If you are having a smaller event and don’t want to hire a roasting machine and cook it yourself, but still want the most sumptuous pork served to your guests – this is for you. Available all year round, inside or outside.

This is the next best thing to a traditional hog roast but without the theatre! Our unique ‘READY TO EAT‘ full service option solves these problems. We roast pork shoulder, leg and loin giving you all the mixed meat and delicious tastes of a whole roasted hog. We carve and transfer the meat to chafing dishes and deliver to your event at a time to suit you, which means we are on site for a far shorter time than for a whole hog roast.  We then serve you and your guests, clean up and depart. No fuss, no mess, no wasted time, just pork at its best! You just supply the guests, eat and enjoy. Here’s what you get…

Roast and Deliver – DIY without having to cook!

Try our no frills ROAST AND DELIVER service for smaller events. We supply you with a fully roasted 30kg whole free range hog, which is ample for up to 60 hungry diners, together with apple sauce and large bread rolls. We roast it and deliver it at a time to suit you. You just supply the guests, carve and eat. Our budget price includes the hog, roasting, bread rolls, apple sauce and delivery up to 10 miles from our base. All you have to supply are the guests! Here’s what’s included…

  • A whole free range hog, up to 30 kg, freshly cooked in Hercules, our unique mobile oven and delivered at a time to suit you
  • Succulent meat with crackling – we’ll show you how carve and pull it off the bone
  • Fresh soft large round baps and apple sauce
  • Disposable plates and napkins
  • No VAT and includes mileage up to 25 miles from our base. Larger hogs available.

It’s less than other hog roasters charge for the DIY hire of the roasting machine with an uncooked hog!!

Don’t be tempted to hire a spit roaster and DIY unless you are experienced. The roasting takes a lot of time, patience and know how. Too much and it’s burnt but worse, too little and it’s under cooked. And if the hog falls off the spit…??
